Background:

Badve Engineering Limited are suppliers of Automotive Components and Aggregates. They manufacture Sheet Metal and Tubular, Fabricated & Plastic Moulded Components. They have various machineries and other facilities including SPMs, Robotics and multiple Surface Treatments with plants across India. They partnered with Corporate Traveller in September 2016.

Situation:

Badve’s travel mostly comprised of domestic bookings. Because a lot of requests would come at the last moment and most of the company’s travel plans used to be requested after office hours, it involved a major dependency on Corporate Traveller’s ETS team. This would result in a lot of revenue leakage due to email exchanges.

Solution:

Corporate Traveller, realising the need of the hour, introduced their Self Booking Tool to Badve and made them move their booking process to the same. This step immensely helped in better coordination, which in turn reduced dependency on the ETS team, while saving time and effort.

Result:

The approval processes became faster with easy reverts between travellers and approvers. Most importantly there was a significant reduction in TAT. Following this, Badve also asked for non-air travel services as this was missing from their current business agreement and came on board with Corporate Traveller’s Ground Transportation and Hotel Program.
